Utter RUBBISH !!!!!!!!!!

Yes it was scorching hot with poor snow in boro but a little ride on the gondola sorted that out, got to the top and hey, what do i find ???? SNOW and lots of it, plenty of skiing to be had on top with what i thought was perfect, all these reports saying how all the snow has gone and the runs are crap, you all need to open your eyes.

as for prices, they may well have gone up, but i thought it was bloody cheap, the locals were great and some of the feeding shacks were spot on and we were made to feel very very welcome and we had kids.

after all the reports i had read, i was on the verge of not going, i am so glad i did now, the place rocks and i am now just sorting a visit for Dec to go back out, so all those that are reading bad reports, ignore them, go see for yourself, i have had one of my best holidays in a long time there, oh and all those tha are just about to go and are worried about the snow DONT !!!!!! just get yourself up the gondola as there is more snow than you can shake a stick at and its not going anywhere for a long time Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

re: My first trip to Boro

One thing i will say, we had a hire car for the week and we saw so many places that people who are staying in Boro itself miss, ok we didnt ski everyday but we saw some great parts arund Boro that was, well just stunning and i cant wait to go back, people need to slate the uk for being a rip off as Boro is miles behind us in that department

re: My first trip to Boro

I feel the need to echo Paul's comments! Returned last night (Saturday) after the best week ever in Boro, yes the snow wasn't great on the Rila slopes but as soon as the gondala was open again on Tuesday we were away.

Borovets is a great place, with great bars and great people! Me and my friend had a fantastic time and missing the place already! Will definitely be returning!!

Cheers Paul.

You've made my weekend.

Wales beat the Irish.

Cardiff beat Middlesbrough

You've perk us all up with your report, glad you had an excellent time. I'm back in Borovets next season for my 8th time and never a poor season yet.
