Last night we celebrated the new year in Pamps it was buzzing and every bar was full the fireworks were a fab display but the safety aspect as terrible some idiot in hig spirits set of a fire work in the Murgevets Bar, kids were racing around unsupervised with lit sparklers and kicking the Xmas tree decorations, the usual negligent parents thinking they are on holiday and someone else will look after their children, i was appauled to see the behaviour. I saw one guy throwing fireworks outside the hotel and it hit a vehicle. All in all a good night.
Hi there I'm due to come out on 10/1 so would be grateful if you could update me on the latest snow. Amanda sounds like u r closest to the action do you know what runs r open?
Can't wait to be there.
Hi Heather the snow has continued all day in Pamps powder snow that is and it is forcast that more will fall throughout the night, the blue and green runs have been open today and if we have the snow that is forecast for this evening all runs will be open tomorrow x let it snow let it snow x
We skied this afternoon. There was only between 5 and 10 cm last night. It is still snowing now and forecast throughout the night but they need around half a meter to fall before any of the other runs are open. The black and reds are still very very bare. One red is just about skiable is you are very good but not really advised. There are stumps sticking up and still patches of grass and small trees sticking up. Its very sad to see.
If you are a beginner it is fine - the green and blue ...

If you are a beginner it is fine - the green and blue are ok - a little icy in places, particularly on the blue but green is fine all the way from top to bottom.
Not really what we wanted and I'm willing it to fall but not very optimistic that the other runs will be open this week.
Chepelare opens on the 7th so worth a look over there as they have cannons and the cover is apparently looking good.
Missizippi is correct, the good news is that the snow is continuing to fall and its looking good but we won't really know untill tomorrow what runs will be open, if the snow continues it will be possitive news x
