Hi all, its not the best news i think we had a couple of inches that is a womens inch not a mans belf i do not know the answer to your question but i will try and find the answer tomorrow. the conditions are perfect for snow this evening, but and it is a big but (not mine)who knows and my crystal ball needs a clean. The weather forecast is that we will have a flurry of snow on Friday but nothing significant, i would love to say that we will have 2 metres of snow by the morning but i can't see it happening, but, yes another but, i would love to be proved wrong in this case

Don't I feel a fool, could have booked Mayerhofen for another £50.
Sounds to me some developers looked on a map, thought "yep there, cheap far enough away and we can build some hotels on it, and one year in ten it has enough snow to ski on."
Whoever thought of putting up prices in Pamps needs a labotomy. The ONLY reason for choosing Bulgaria is that everything else when you are there is cheap. If it isn't: the flight is longer, the language alien, the chance of being exploited greater, and the runs, snow, and transfers not a patch on the 225km network of the Ziller Valley.

If I get back alive I will keep you posted if I actually had a good time.

Now now Andrew, come on lets be a little more positive here, you will not have a problem with the language barrier as most people and staff in the resort speak English, there have been hotels in Pamporovo for many years, the resort is by no means new, we have had two bad seasons and yes the start of this season is not the best but it is early in the season, if you use your twaddle you will not get ripped off and there are many places where the food is not expensive, a holiday after all is what you make it, i will be interested in your thoughts when you return, as Pamps is new to you when you arrive pop in my office and i can give you lots of advice, cheer up its not so bad x

Thanks Amanda, I went to borovets as a kid, since then I have fond memories of the lovely last supper carving I bought for Grandad at the monestary disappearing into a cloud of dust when the painted 'plaster of paris' it was made of didn't like the pressure in the aeroplane. I was naive and though it would be made of wood. I received it prewrapped in brown paper by a nice Monk with a long beard like father christmas.

I'll probably come back wishing I could stay, I do enjoy my holidays, but I always work before hand and think the worst. That way I can only be pleasantly surprised. Just tell those monks to be ware I am going to bring them a tin of exlax disguised as mints
