Apparently when they built the sign for Plovdiv they missed the 'e' off the end... Confused

As you drive down the 4 lane motorway that enters the airport keep to the far right lane, this swings off over terminals 3 - 7. You then go through a tunnel that takes you under runways 2, 14 and 16. Turn left at the 4th roundabout. Follow the road for about 200 meters and you will see a hard rock cafe on your right. Turn left just past that and straight infront of you is a harvey nicols. Park your car in the bentley garage and you will see a back entrance to terminal 13a just to the side of it, straight in the revolving doors and on your right is anne summers and MFI. The harrods outlet is behind the indoor aqua parc (based on disney's blizzard beach only bigger) and the others are just down from there. If you look for Tesco extra you won't go wrong.

re: Restaurants in Plovdiv Airport

I have a British Airways Executive Club pass (as a frequent flier) - usually it gets me into most loungesregrdless of airline / airport - do you think I will be able to use it at the exec lounge in Plovdiv?

Thanks for the great advice so far...

Very Happy

The executive lounge is usually booked months in advance. However if you cross the road and to your left, the Plovdiv Hilton do some fantastic Hors' Dourves and the Quails Eggs are my particular favourite. You can while away the hours there amongst some of the finest surrounding you will find anywhere in the world.

Or why not take a trip to the fitness centre, where you can learn how to get a baggage trolley without having to nut a granny.

I personally have always been more than comfortable in one of the many fine departure lounges that the airport offers. The facilities often leave me speechless.

re: Restaurants in Plovdiv Airport

This has really cheered me up as I was a bit apprehensive about it all. I also think that I will spend a little more time in the hotel on my return by making use of the ticketless boarding system at Plovdiv. Has anyone used this before?
