Not sure I have used that, its usually just stand near the door and walk on to what you hope is your plane! U may find it better with your BA Ex pass though. Can't wait to get to starbucks at Plovdiv. The coffee is to die for, similar to the smoking area, which I have to say is the best thing I have ever seen. Does anyone know if they have increased the bag collection area? that was the only thing that was substandard last year! happy hols

due to the huge expansion recently and the introduction of the well being spa the small souvenier shop which used to be in the doorway has had to be relocated to the relaxtion lounge outside and to the left from the main airport entrance, poor guy he has been booted out to be replaced by dixon's

Everyone has to experience Plovdiv, surely the greatest airport of all time... The facilities, the comfy seats in the departures, the restaurants which have been mentioned, the lovely toilets with the touch screen flush system.. the starbucks, the happy workers, the local dogs ensuring the convayer(so spelt wrong!) belts move with great speed. I have to say, I found sofia a big let down when I flew there.

& I believe they now not only have a undercover runway, but its installed with underground cooling system, just to ensure your landing is as bad as it can possibly be! so you love the airport that little bit more, long live plovdiv!

Paul, not only the first under cover runway, but there is also an aircraft valet area where the consciencious pilot can have his plane washed.re: Restaurants in Plovdiv Airport
WOW....with all of this at the airport I think i'll stay there for the week and just get a cab upto pamps each day to ski, it might even turn out like that Tom Hanks film "the terminal"
