Lordy lordy - some people get really touchy about the smallest things.
But as you have raised it, I will respond.
Why is it not a Charity?
I do not need a piece of paper in my hand to raise money for a good cause and I would never tell people to give. However I do feel that mentioning it often has helped swell the collection and I will continue to do so. If you can't take a little leg pull - then I suggest you ignore all my posts in future.

And I find your comments about 'we are relying on Amanda' are very damming indeed. And I'm glad you 'believe' she will pay it over!!!!!!!!!!!
Go have a moan about something bad - not something that is trying to help kids stay alive.
its not a charity as its not registared, at the moment they would be lacking the income to get charity status, Yes its a good cause, but a charity no,
As for the comment about Amanda, If someone knocked on your door collecting for a cause you would want to see correct ID which usually would come from being a charity, if the person didnt have this you would possibly not give to them, plus if they didnt have this there collection would not be legal, it was just a point. You have my personal assurance that every pair of jeans, boots and any other article is recorded and that every penny is also accounted for. Please look at the website www.orphanagestoikite-bg.org on the Diary of Events page and maybe you can see for yourself. If it is a day or so out of date it is because I have had other things to do yesterday and today - like making sure PP gets really good coverage for his ski-a-thong (maybe that's the wrong word to use Pete as you won't really have much on the day) so that he can achieve his target of £1000 before going to Borovets. He is a Top Man in my books.
