Not fair comment Steve,

Having read a heck of a lot of ramblings by Mr M that's his nature but he also highlights the decline of Bulgaria as a skiing destination for a the masses. Hopefully the Bulgarian investors will take note and put some serious investment in place. I have been going to Borovets for the past 10 years and whilst there has been quiet a lot of investment with snow cannons, lifts and piste improvements the skiers & boarders have declined in a dramatic way this past season.

I take what Mr M writes on this forum with a pinch of salt, he enjoys winding folks up and I suspect he gets as good as he gives.

God forbid we get the rantings of Manc Tom and Manchester United Night Muffy on how to change her forks. But never but never defame Cardiff City F.C. greatest team in the division eh Pete looks a tight finish again.

Roll on next season back to Boro Jan 16th (so if you read this Mr M) check in and meet up one day.

I agree SP, some (but only a small percentage) of what he posts is informative and interesting and he is correct in what he says about some of the problems in BG. However, the people who come to this forum have often already decided to come to Bulgaria (for whatever reason) and they don't want to hear all his negativity when they are asking perfectly reasonable questions or asking for information. They don't want to here 'don't come to BG, go to the Alps instead'

Mr M will always say that those of us who reply are biased and are trying to self promote and possibly some people are - but most responders are trying to be helpful and personally I find some of what he says quite insulting. The effect of his negativity is to actively discourage tourism in BG which harms all of us! those who do have a vested interest and also those who want to go there on holiday.

Personally I'd rather not read his posts but I have said that I will not delete posts - I will only edit where necessary and will publically state that I have edited them.

Decline of Bulgarian Ski resorts ?? cannot really comment on Borovets or Pamporovo, but Bansko has seen its busiest season ever... Investment is key certainly... Mr M ??? sounds like Mikey, smells like Mikey... there could only be one

And as a footnote, and likely the last post i will make this season, we endevour to promote Bulgaria in general, attempting to steer visitors old and new to avoid problems, and make the best of their decided visit to this country. We as a business benefit very little if at all directly from this forum, but if we can assist (hinder ??) in people enjoying their time here, then we see this as an overall benefit to every business here. If this is considered `vested' then so be it... There is also the consideration that this board is more Pamps/Boro biased, so we like to keep Bansko in the frame...

Have a great summer all, we're going to, mountainbikes are now dusted down and the fun starts in 3 weeks at Shambhala in Sopot
