Are you talking about extra luggage allowance ?thomsonfly have said no to me, had a huge argument on the phone with very snotty woman !! Am going to Doncaster airport tommorow to see what they say

Yep that's right Julie --- if I was 20 stone I would not be charged any extra, but ask them to help some poor kids and they don't wanna know.

Huh. . .worked it out by time you pay for extra weight you may as well use the money to spend on the kids when you get there, my hubby and sons have all agreed to take less clothes (and me)so all the stuff I have got WILL be going with us, we will just walk around looking like scarecrows all week
who cares as long as the kids get there warm things and treats. MEAN HORRID THOMSONFLY And I only weigh 8 and a half bloody stone !!! Julie x

An extra kilo at the airport could cost around £7.50.
My wife and I went to Kenya in June and took quite alot of stuff for the people there, we paid the excess baggage - not happy about it, but paid it because we knew the stuff we were taking would make a little difference to the people who would receive the stuff.
Paid almost £100 in excess baggage.
Therefore, I would look beyond the excess baggage charge as it will mean so much more to the people who will receive the products you ...
