Hi Guys, I just got back from Boro last week and It was fantastic. I was reading this board for a few weeks beforehand and was to say the least a little worried. It is a fantastic place, the people are lovely and we had great conditions. I'm Irish and live in the UK and just can't get my head around " the whinging English " if you want to go to Austria or France and pay £9-£12 A BEER , £240 FOR SKI PASSES. Then off with ya, stop slagging Bulgaria off you pompous snobs... I shall be returning ...

Then off with ya, stop slagging Bulgaria off you pompous snobs... I shall be returning next year and trying out Bansko.... oh ya forgot to mention the food was also fab... try Katy's for the best steak in Boro and the pizza place buy The Harp bar was brill aswell, aslo the bar at the base of Yestrebets 2 before the chair lifts has the nicest staff around... For those who are heading out go with an open mind and Boro will be a pearl.... take care all.. Aidan
have freinds just returned from les deux alpes who were paying £6+ for a pint , thats looking like an extra £40 / day. £280 / week
ive got to agree with you
Glad you had a good time and went with an open mind.
I love the place too but realise there are some who don't and prefer more sophisticated resorts and countries. I think it's a shame that some take great pleasure in trying to put people off going rather than letting them try and make up their own minds.
If someone has booked, it seems unfair to me, to make the lead up to the holiday a misery reading such negativity, rather than reading suggestions of how to get the best ...

It depends if your 'glass is half full or half empty' as to how you enjoy a place, I suppose and we are lucky to have the choice to travel to experience so many different places
Your mates drink 7 pints a night? Wow. I guess it depends on what you want from a skiing holiday, but if its good skiing or cheap beer and pizzas, then I'm a snob.
