Having just enjoyed the Kempinski vip lift pass, I can confirm that you have to be a guest of the hotel and either buy your lift pass as part of your holiday package at time of booking or pay extra for it at the hotel reception in the kempinksi, don't go and buy it at the Gondola station as it must have your name and the 'Kempinksi' hotel written on the pass. It works a treat. We bought our lift pass through 'First Choice/Thompson/Chrystal on the buy one get one free deal but beware not all ...

It works a treat. We bought our lift pass through 'First Choice/Thompson/Chrystal on the buy one get one free deal but beware not all Reps bother to tell the clients that it is a vip pass, something about not wanting to upset the other holiday makers on the transfer bus or at Welcome meetings, our rep 'Barney' chose not to tell us so we still spent 2 days in the hell of gondola queue and one day taxi riding up the mountain before our snowboard instructor mentioned it to us.
It makes staying at the Kempinski even more of a dream holiday.
Thanks guys, we're booked into the Kempinski with Bulkan, so it sounds like we should get the VIP pass.
Have been to Bansko for the last 6 years, and decided to have the 'Kempinski experience' this time. Had 'afternoon tea' there last year, £14.00 a head, tea and cake was rubbish, but hey ho, it's not the food it's the doing it that counts (yes I know I'm sad!). Great snow just now, hope it lasts till we get there.
Where were you last week Snowlover? if those of us choose to pay more money for our accommodation then why not take advantage of the vip pass offer, everybody has the opportunity to stay at the Kempinski at a cost and benefit from the perks that come with the higher cost.
I would still rather take a taxi than stand wasting one to two hours in the gondola queue.
hey i drive every time , i was pulling you leg , and i pay more for my accomdation as i have invested heavily in Bansko , but as a business man and avid Bansko believer we cant buy them ......odd wouldnt you think since we support the town in man y ways , not just paying the higher price the Kempinski demnds hummmmmm so think on , im watching you
So all you investors in Bansko are littering the ski car parks around the mountain with your flash new cars, pushing out all the lovely old Lada 4x4's shame on you. From what we saw last week in Bansko you should be very pleased with your investments, I used to be a sceptic about Bansko but not any more, enjoy the weather.
