Went to Pamporovo three years ago, never again. Why do people go here???? Awful toilets, awful ski-ing, awful food. Rubbish ski lifts. Why not pay slightly more and guarantee a ski-ing holiday????? Went to Italy last year, for a family of four, only a couple of hundred pounds extra - tons of snow, great food. Bulgaria stinks....re: WHY BULGARIA

Just from amazement that people go there when there are so many other places to gore: WHY BULGARIA
Been to Borovets 4 times and Sunny Beach about half a dozen times and have never experienced the Holiday you described. Fair enough it's not Saint Tropez or Whistler but you can have just has much fun in Bulgaria as you can anywhere else in the world.Never had any issues with snow in BG either nor with any stink.
Sorry you failed to enjoy your time in Bulgaria, but I'd recommend it to anyone.
Your holiday just like life is what you make it after all.

Lots of people go to the same place every year, because they think it is good, and dont know anything else - the world is a big place, go and explore. If you are going ski-ing, you need to go somewhere that you can guarantee there will be lots of snow.re: WHY BULGARIA
I've traveled the world since I was 18 years of age, lived and worked in 4 different countries and worked in the tour industry for 3 years...if you are trying to imply that maybe it's the only place I have been?
No one is saying BG is the best place in the world, but let people make their own minds up...seems pretty cynical of you to have issues with people liking it and wanting to go there just because you don't.

Not at all - just looking at the snow here at home, and thought ha, ha I wonder what Bulgaria is like, got friends going to France and Italy in New Year and looking up snow reports for there. Noticed it is going to be 9 degrees in Pamps, not very good for a ski-ing resort. I also went on this site, after I had booked for Pamporovo and feel it is very mis-leading in terms of weather and facilities when there, compared to other countries. Think a lot of people who comment on here are pro ...

Borovets is deep in snow at the moment....so you must be looking in the wrong place maybe?I don't profit from anything in BG...I'm just a tourist who has had great Holidays there.
