Walkie Talkie Experiences...Anyone?

um, just wondering, are these bulgarian sim cards available to buy cheaply at sofia airport, hotels etc? staying at Rila Hotel, so just wonderin where buy them from that doesnt involve a big trek into a town.

You used to be able to buy simcards in the little minimarket just up from the white magic on the same side of the road

Hi i have just bought the Motorola T7`s for Bansko has anyone used these before and know what they are like

paul, they just have credit on them. one is vivatel the other Mtel.

there is one other Globlal

they are always having promotions. I think at the moment 19 is 15.99 leva for two mtel cards, free to each other and with 5 leva credit in each.

I do not know the other offers, my phone is mtel so i go there to pay the bills. I will look in town this evening though.

Hey Blue...will be testing them out in the open are like on the slopes this weekend.

I did try them in the car with my Wife in the house...I got to about 1 mile down the road and it faded away. This isn't too bad as the signal must have been blocked by several houses in the direction I was travelling.

Without wanting to bring this thread back from a couple of weeks ago...I will be trying out the walkie talkies this from this weekend in Bansko to get real experience for those interested. Very Happy
