Once whilst in Feurte I (through boredom) and smal sense of adventure, decided to infiltrate a Germans only all inclusive resort. (next to ours) A German going to the beach kept the normally locked gate open for me - I said danke and entered. I kid u not - It was what I would expect a Hitler youth camp to be like - lots of "uber alles". testosterone and coke. Only thing missing was the Swastikas. Helped myself to some of their drinks, food and made my escape. My wife said "wher've you been" ...

Wife got taken out by an out of control skier on the green run just down from the mid station camera twice, got a bit of a phobia about it now, even though she's done French reds, and ended up with a bust lip that really swelled up, and a bit of bruising around the eye, I got some really funny looks in the airport, so don't assume anyone with a black eye and fat lip is with a wife beater, I don't even own a vestre: Wiped out by another Skier / Snowboarder Stories

nope the pin doesn't go ping at the airport.As for carrying on, I just thought I'd taken a bang, and actually said to a mate "I'll have a nasty bruise there tomorrow!". My instructor scolded me for not using my arms properly..........

Sancho - glad you don't 'ping' - at Sofia airport there's a woman (she wears a skirt anyway) that does the body searches. I think she was left there by the Russians when communism fell, she is too scarey even for themre: Wiped out by another Skier / Snowboarder Stories
