We all have stories of getting Wiped out or even been the cause (no fault of our own).
Just starting this tread to get some of your stories.
My worst was 3 years ago in pamps my Ski School group and Instructor were at the end of the Red that leads to the wall - we stopped at the bottom over to the right, well out of the way of traffic. All of a sudden I was hit It felt like a freight train I flew through the air. When I got up I seen a lady on the ground and went to help her up, But she start screaming at me in russian - This lady was the far side of 60 and all of the group noticed that she had wooden skis on and no poles just 2 shopping bags. It seems that she bashed her noise (on my head) at it was bleeding. Our Instructor seen that she lost control on the slope and we where not to blame. We gave her a tissue and it was ok ,but she was still going mad at our instructor. After ten mins or so she picked up her bags and started down.
After that we asked our instructor was everything ok and he replied Crazy Lady.
Im sure we all have stories about been wiped out...

So I literally did - straight down the mountain, yelling for everyone to move as I couldn't stop - best run I've ever done, didn't fall over and whizzed down at ...

Crashed into a net barrier at the bottom

HMMMM...my cheapo ski insurance (£9.54 for couple) might not be a good choice. Only problematic experience I ever had was in Canada when a spotty youth on a board decided to buzz me whilst i was going quite fast on a widish piste. After some very near misses, might I say by him, he the got a bit vocal cos "I" was gettin' in his way.
