re: alpina bar

Hi all

I'm Aimee from the Alpina. Apologies if people have had a bad experience during your time in our bar. Arie and i do try to offer the best possible service as only english people know how. We stop serving food at 8pm as there is only arie in the kitchen - if people were to actually come in they would see the kitchen opening hours clearly posted on the wall.

We are an english bar and stick to english traditions - the service we offer is bar only. This is also posted clearly next to the bar. Since the omelette insident we have now purchased two further pans. I also don't understand the whole issue with staff being around the bar - we don't actually have any staff!! We finally hired one additional member of staff in the last 7 days - a really friendly swedish girl called mimi. So anyone that was crowding the bar would have been paying customers. We also, unfortunately can't offer a waiting area at the bar as the bar isn't big enough. if anyone has any comments or queries for us we would be happy to answer these directly, even better in person as anything input on what we can do to improve our service is very much appriciated.

Aimee has a good voice but I can only apologise for us standing in for her when she had a sore throat. We enjoyed ourselves, not sure about the customers who made a quick exit by the end of our first rendition of Dancing Queen. If only they had stayed for Bohemian Rhapsody! Wink Very Happy Booze

Also just gor back from a great holiday in BOROVETS.

TJ and Tim thanks for making our evenings such fun and for your geat company. I'm sure our rendition of the Dancing Queen will be remembered for a long time!

Alpina was a great place with friendly staff and all our group enjoyed the evening spent in there, old and young alike.

My skiing has not improved i'm affraid and my husband and I have decided to take lessons at home ,ready for our next holiday.
