I was one of the "18 year olds" on that above post and i was the terrible one who nearly killed everyone with my song : bo rhap....
But luckily i did not kill the staff in the Alpina otherwise i could not recommend a good english run/style pub.
Aimee, Arie and mimi are great people and I heavily suggest anyone and everyone to go in there.
Yes it might be a small place, but I did enjoys my evenings there.
They usually have special themedd nights which is always good (party night ...

The food was good and the company in the pub was even better.
I say to give this pub a chance, it is worth it, trust me!
And the 1.80 lev a pint is not a lie!

Hi Bibblyb0bsthe flora is a really nice hotel and the fact that it's just across from us makes it a great location choice for you. From what we've heard from others the iglika is also really nice located just behind the rila. Look forward to meeting you!

We stayed at The Ela which was a cosy hotel - only 66 bedrooms, most of the staff where friendly but there was still a few miserable ones, esp the woman in the restaurant, who looked like a bulldog eating a wasp! It is over the road from the Samokov and the gondola is just round the corner!re: alpina bar
Hi Beryl & NeilI've added me email now. Yes it was me, i think i've recovered but i'm not 100% sure! 3 weeks have just dissapeared but it was a really fun week and i'd love to see the photo's(i think). It wasn't my fault being so mad, at least thats what i'm telling myself, it was Aimee and Arie's fault giving me all those evil shots. I'll say hi to Paul for you.

Hi Glenn, I am the one (and I hold my hands up) who made you the cocktail of which Arie said I was pure evil for making.........until it actually tasted alright
For anyone wanting to try Glenn's stag do cocktail, you need, normal vodka, green apple flirt vodka, mint liqueur, orange juice, some other juice, tia maria, sambuca, all finished off with whipped cream!!
I do believe after this you ended up naked though

Arie cooks the finest fried eggs in town. years of practise, a culinary triumph.. the humble egg transformed into a masterpiece of cafe art .this accompanied with the mainstay of proper crispy chips dipped seductively into the orange yolk only serves to augment the careful arrangement of Heinz baked beans could anyone ask for more? well mebbe a side order of toast but I digress..10/10re: alpina bar
If anyone wants to try a mans drink ask arie to make a ASBO for you. he made it out to be a very nice drink. something about throwig up in 5 minits or so. lol.i would deffinatly recomend the place.

Alpina bar has paid very high rental for this season and I dont think they will make even at the end of it even with this massive advertisement on this forum.re: alpina bar
Hi SmiggerYes it did end up tasting quite nice, Thanks! But i think drinking that so quick was when i got very drunk, and i can see why when thats what was in it.
Not completely naked i did have then monkey, lol!!!
