just wondering how many apartment owners have their apartments cleaned by the management running your complex,, mine are trying to charge me upto £20 per day £140 per week and its only a 45 sqm studio? is this rare? am i being ripped off? just wondering the prices others are chartged in their complex's

I dont know how you work, but I would only expect the appartment to be clean when I arrived and cleaned once I leave,up to the person in it to keep tidy or If they want it cleaned daily they should pay. do they need to clean it everyday?re: apartment cleaning scandal

20 pounds to clean the apartment once is probably a little below the going rate (especially if it includes laundry). Why it has to be cleaned everyday is the real question. Most rental apartments are cleaned only at the start of each rental period. Maybe a change of towels midweek if the clients request it. For a self catering apartment I think it is not necessary to clean each week. What complex is it?

Expect to pay around 40lv for the cleaning plus laundry (normally around 10lv)...Surely if you are letting the guests have a certain responsibilty to keep the place reasonable, sweep up, wash dishes etc... cannot see it needs doing every day ???

We pay 14 euro's for a full clean which includes linen & towel change and laundry, - plus full clean. This is at end of a rental period.A mid week clean to include floors, bin empty, mirrors etc is 6 euro.
Extra towel change is 1.50 and extra linen change is 4 euros.

Thanks for all you comments, good to see what others are paying. these people want to clean, mop and wash up everyday, change towels every day and change the sheets twice in one week... all this is way over the top... how many people back home change their bedsheets every 2/3 days? i do not want cleaners in my room everyday, i am capable of washing up and putting rubbish in a bin in my self catering apartment this is just a money generating scheme by the complex, quite sad really a complex ...
