Heard that the daily pass will be rising in line with inflation... you know, 50% like the season pass ?
Current inflation in BG is around 4.5% official figures, so we could expect 2.5lv per day rise ? Lets see eh ? Im plumping for 10lv, hoping its only 5lv, and will be absolutely astonished if its 2.5lv....
Can't blame Ulen really, it is a business, and BG business dictates that you must attempt to milk every last penny (stotinka) for profit... after last years terrible season they must be really feeling the pinch
There could be of course another explanation, it would definitely reduce the lift queues as tourists decide that the value of BG has become somewhat outdated, with the most expensive Euro per KM pass in Europe

Finally some sence.the same situation in Borovets.lift pass for people with businesses in there pay more than two thousand levs but normal punters tourists if they want to buy seasonaire pass they get it at nearly half .
So if you have something which brings tourists into BG lile bar pub,ski school,etc you are punished.
THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE SKI WORLD LIKE IT
But then again this is BG and TM is the monopol which can anything.rise the prices limit the possibilities to do bussines ask for example all of the ski insteuctors to do free work for at least 2 weeks during the summer and forcing them to sign paper that they are doing this as a volunteers not as a force tool to reduce the working lift pass WHICH SHOULD BE HEAVILY REDUCED OR FREE LIKE IN MOST OF THE ski resorts outside Bulgaria.
I have been reading here that the season was very good from some posters.
Perhaps thats not the case after all.
