Can I just say that I have been reading this discussion board before and after my trip to Bansko and that there is so much rubbish written on it. Firstly the webcam is NOT at mid station. Can I just say that I have been reading this discussion board before and after my trip to Bansko and that there is so much rubbish written on it. Firstly the webcam is NOT at mid station. Yes it does not have the number of slopes that the established resorts of the Alps has. However, for intermediate skiing it is great. The town has lots of building going on but so what. If you are there for the skiing it really won't affect you. I went last week in half term as I have no choice as I am a teacher. If you got to the Gondola at 10.30 ish you breezed straight through. All in all we had a excellent trip but rememeber that old saying you get what you pay for. If you buy Cava don't expect Champagne taste!
I only wanted to know about the vouchers, there are 5 web cams and the one on here is about mid way. they do take your photo for your ski pass, I think I asked why when they never look at and was told it appears in the both next to the station when you scan your pass. As far as I can see noone has been moaning about what they get. As Joe has said its peoples opinions not hard facts.
Sam, last year there was no photo taken for the lift pass but your name does appear on the plastic pass. Nobody ever looked at it as it just scans at the lifts.
