dissapointing holiday

Cryingwe have just returned from Bansko and were really dissapointed in the crowded slopes with dangerous skiers & boarders who ran you down. The long wait for the gondola in the mornings, when the Bulgarians pushed in at the front of the queue,& the security staff turned a blind eye.Our ski instructor was fantastic though, and the snow was good. Sorry to hear that Bridget - but your sentiments echo mine on Bansko.

Better luck on your 2009 venture.

re: dissapointing holiday

I was supprised in Pamps this year, lots of snow but not many skiers. Chair lifts empty at the bottom didn't have to wait and at the midway station there was hardly any wait.
Highly recomended.

re: dissapointing holiday

Dont suppose that it will be like that nexr week Suzanne as it will be half term, but heres hoping!
Perhaps last years conditions have put people off, as looking at the webcams there appears to be far less people on the slopes.

re: dissapointing holiday

Lets hope so for next week.

Mind you the Bulgarians seem worse then the germans at queues. If you can't speak Bulgarian the fingers and then a thumb waving to the back of the queue they understand very well.

I forgot it's half term in Uk next week. I expect it will be busy then. Fingers crossed it's not. I think last years conditions have put people off. It worked out ok for me as I don't have children so going out of shcool holidays is easy.
