taking our baby boy with us are their any none smoking bars near the rila.

there are no non smoking bars in Bulgaria (apart from Hotel Avalon in Bansko). Even if you sit in the nominally non-smoking section, the first thing the waitress will ask you is whether you want an ashtray. On the plus side, its warm enough to sit outside!

Hunters Restaurant is non-smoking, down near the Samokov. Only ever been in there to eat, but sure you can just go for a drink in there too.

Yeah it takes some getting used to again sitting in a bar where everyone smokes n your clothes smelling when you get back!

I think B.J's bar opposite the gondola advertised non smoking?? I smelt more of wood smoke than tobacco smoke!

both Hunters and BJ's are non smoking. In hunters I have seen them asking people to leave (and loosing business) if they start smoking. It's good to have a couple of real non smoking places

Great! Somewhere for everyone to go and be in comfort, and the property owner decides their own policy. How ironic an ex-communist country allows freedom of choice(for now anyway).

HOW IS EVERY1 IN COMFORT, DO YOU THINK A BABY IN A SMALL BAR WITH 50 SMOKERS IS COMFORT FOR THE BABY!
