I'm absolutely gob smacked to see the prices now, are you sure this is correct?
I'm off in Feb half term and was hoping for a relatively cheap one ( just wrote my car off ). Can anyone else shed light on prices for this year and maybe a list of the best value for money places to eat/DRINK. Cheers in advance.
If the prices are like that , how can this even try to be an up and coming ski resort , as i went to livigno in italy , last year which is tax free , bottle of smirnoff 1 ltr £ 3.75 , the place was that cheap i left £100 of ski gear to fill my case , and made more than double at home , go to pamps in 4 weeks and mite change my mind and book the gullervers apmnt in livingno , plus the snow is 140cm deeper.
I believe most of the bars in Pamps are owned/rented by the same guy so he has the monopoly and can therefore charge what he likes, I would like to think the staff benefit from the increase in prices?
I have not been this year to Pamps off on the 19th but I would suggest possibly Otchco's (not sure of spelling) at top of the mountain in pamps will still keep his prices down as much as possible and its traditional bulgarian grub....
If you go to Borovets there is a little bar opposite ...

If you go to Borovets there is a little bar opposite the Breza/Gondola owned by british people which still only charges 1 lev 20 for a pint and 80 stinkies for a half, they serve food too, I found the bars I went to in Borovets quite reasonable at Christmas, White Magic, Franko's and Titanic....
I have found the prices up the mountain in all the resorts are quite high in comparison to the town...
I went to Plovdiv on my last few days, and the difference there is typical of the old bulgaria, I bought "two" russians dolls total 44 lev In Plovdiv, in Borovets for one the same it was 48 lev, a taxi cost me 9 lev for approx 2 hours of driving around and waiting whilst I shopped just a few minutes in the resorst taxis cost average 12-15 lev...
but I still love sking over there...
