Prices in pamps seemed to match uk, however i was led to beleive bulgaria was cheap.
Just got back today and restaurants were charging £8 for breakfast, £2 for tea, £2.50 for hot chocolate and main course of steak £16.00, how does this compare to last year? also found bulgarians in general rip the english off in every way they can from restaurant bills to short changing you and bumping taxi prices up! had a fantasic time but seriously corrupt undertones put me off going back there just ...

if what u r saying is correct then yes prices have gone up markedly in some cases, breakfest, and meals strike me as expensive, the breakfast price is comparable with the little chef in england ,and i wouldnt step in one of those,i guess u have to shop around for things, but like everything in this world keen prices dont last forever ,its a shame that the hotels cannot offer food as good as the other eateries in the resorts, considering they have all the proper catering equipment
Novice those prices do seem very high, not what I have experianced before and certainly not what I was paying in Bansko in March. But it does seem to be what people are saying.
Just got back from Borovets and found the same problem.
Prices up 30% from last year and some prices were like london!
I was shocked and now i am also poor
We're going back in March but will save more before we go next time!!
