I wonder whether they've took the pis* cos it was xmas and NY. I really hope that the prices will level out. I don't mind paying the going rate... but I having the pis* taken out of me and imagine others feel the same.

We noticed in the new pubs that prices were a bit up on last year, but in the mehanas and shops everything seemed the same. And even from small shop to small shop prices varied alot, for example the same small tube of super strength sunscreen from 17 to 33 lev depending on which shop you went to.

Had one waiter short change us - cheeky bugger knew it too - but it was by less than we were going to tip him anyway.

All in all though, pretty happy, and it was awesome value. Very Happy

re: pamps not very cheap!

every holiday hot spot is never cheap. that how the rich stay rich.
I have never been on holiday where it has been cheap.

if you are cleaver and use your money properly you can save hundreds.

make pack lunch and take bottles of fanta on slops and save 10-20 quid a day each person.
each restaurant has large pricesed different

re: pamps not very cheap!

Cripes - does sound like things have shot up. We went last year and only spent about £150 between 2 of us for a week. But then we were half board and ate mostly in the hotel. Does help if you can get a breakfast in before heading up the slopes!
Also we drank in hotel bar in the evening and made friends with the barman who got us very drunk for less than a tenner every night!
Think I'll be going back there in Feb by the sound of things
