Johnone - Perhaps we can meet up for a hot chocolate next week.
Given your disregard for the prices then i am sure you therefore wont mind buying me, my wife and my 4 kids a nice cheap round? You can then follow your own advice and have nothing to complain about!

Bulgaria is marketed as the cheap option that it clearly no longer is. European resorts such as La Plagne where slated 2 years ago for massive price hikes.
However, Bulgaria is being reported as now on par in price with Europe. If it is no longer value for money on a budget, which was the main pull, then customers would rather spend the money going to better managed resorts and be ripped off there!
If customers did their talking through action and went elsewhere, which they will, then Bulgaria will die a death. Slopes may be empty for the few to enjoy but there will be no money to pay the wages for the staff who man the hotels, bars and shops etc.
Perhaps these posts and concerns should be showed to those in resort who benefit financially.
If customers experience any of the rip - off senarios or badly managed pistes etc then do something about it!
A good place to start would be by boycoting those expensive places, buying your food from the cheaper shops or taking all your provisions with you and go self catering!
It is clear that certain businessmen have a monopoly and own various bars and shops with differing prices for the same item. That does not mean that customers have to use them!
Can't understand why anyone would want to go to a place that charges £12 for chocolate, same thing in Austria is £3.50 which is cheaper than Starbucks. France only appeals to ignorant english prats that don't speak any other language. And the food is crap by comparison with Switzerland Austria and Germany. For a start most of the food they serve we would call rotten. You smelt their cheese? Their wine is an aquired taste ( but why heaven knows) Italian wine is smooth full bodied and doesn't ...

Their wine is an aquired taste ( but why heaven knows) Italian wine is smooth full bodied and doesn't come with all the arrogant snobery attached. If you go to italy, try Moscato with cake at 4pm it is to die for, and not the crap we get here which is fizzy rubbish.
