I have a thought here perhaps you won't agree.....
Amanda maybe you should report their acts to the Child Protection Unit.
I am not saying they're criminals but obviously the visit (or unexpected night visit) was planned and they knew that was a home for a group of children. Think about it, if they wanted to make some fun during the holiday, why chose children?
Police will usually keep a record and that may help future investigation if something similar happens again in any other countries.
Do you know where they came from?

So sorry to hear about this upsetting incident!!! It must be very hard for you! What country were these people from???????? U say they were englishspeaking?
How many people were on this coach, and did they really arrive with empty hands and bring absolutely nothing to the children?
How can we help? It just makes me really sad to think of poor children in a building without any heating system? It must be totally freeeezing!!!
How much have you raised already for the heating fund and how much do you need still?

Keep on with the good work, good that there are people like you in this world!!!
