last week there was an incident at the institute, a man telephoned and asked if i would except a coach load of people to visit the institute, this is not a circus and it is not good for the children, i made a compromise due to the fact that he agreed to donate to the much needed heating fund to a maximum of three people. He then took matters into his own hands and turned up at 8pm (i was not present) the children were just going to bed as it was a school day. A man turned up and was asking a member of staff if they could look around and said that i had given permission, the man did this through a bulgarian colleague that accompanied him. The member of staff was a little confused as she new nothing of the visit but thought that if they new me it was ok and allowed them in, as she climbed the stairs she was followed by a coach load of people following she got concerned. The children ran in excitement at the english voices and it quickly became apparent that they were a little drunk, there was a big commotion at this point. To cut a long story short, some of these children have been abused in the most awful ways by drunken people often family, yes there was a problem with security and this should not have happened and there are any issues to look at, however i did not give this an permission and him using my name has caused me many problems now, i am unable to take visitors and i am lucky that i am still allowed to be a part of these childrens lives. i got a terrible roasting as a result. This is not a circus or some where to go if you have nothing better to do, this incident has caused further immotional problems with one little new little boy. We did not receive any donations either from these visitors, i am not going to name the person as it would have no positive benefit. please do not go to the institute uninvited, if there is one further incident i will be blamed and locked out of these childrens lives, i am sure that you will understand.

I am going to be bringing some clothes, pens etc with me when I come in March which have been kindly donated by people I work with.

I have already told them that unfortunately I will be unable to visit the orphanage as it would disturb the lives of the children too much but would hopefully be able to meet you and get an update on how they are doing.

I am so sorry for you that someone has used your name and got you into trouble and sincerely hope it was no one from this board.

I do hope we can meet when I'm there in March.

I'm sorry to hear that someone has treated the children and yourself in this way. It's disgraceful and I can only hope that the person involved feels terrible for the way they have behaved.

I am coming out to Pamps on the 3rd and I am bringing clothes for the children from us (wife and I) and my parents, I've also been given things from the platform that I work on in the shape of a small first aid kit and some other things for the children. I hope that I get a chance to meet you when I'm over and I will contact you nearer the time for a pick up if that's ok?

I can back Amanda up on this as she spoke to me after she found out about the incident and was very upset and distressed and had to make peace with the staff and director who thought Amanda had sent them along. The problem is when things like this happen it makes trouble and unpleasantness for Amanda and Doug who both spend so much time with these kids in the orphanage and I feel they are our only lifeline between these kids and the "outside world". I am not sure what the children would do without them, and you wonderful people would not be able to help them to have a half decent life.
I would not describe these people as "sick", more unthoughtful and stupid.
