Love the idea of a timed run, will definitely be posting a time. But how about another option:- Top of the highest lift back to the Gondola base station. I think it's meant to be 16km and you have the added complication of a choice of routes!

re: Bansko ski road record

that sound like a good idea to me we could always do it for every run, put a time sheet on the web for people to print of and fill in whilst out and then put on web when they return home Question Mmm anyone know how to do that as i can't even put a link on a post, ok i am in my 40's and no we didn't have computers whilst i attended school.
where are you oly

re: Bansko ski road record

We have just booked Bansko for the first time this year. Been boarding a few times just need to practice on our own so havn't booked lessons. But I'm getting worried after reading all this about the ski road, are there plenty of places for our standard to practice on without getting in the way>

Of course there is - 65 kms of pistes on the mountain, should be some room! ... The ski road is just the 7 kms of road from the top station of the gondola to the bottom.
