re: Bansko

Wonkeydalloper, I apologise I've just read over your previous post again and now believe it was your poor grammer and use of the English Language that that made it really hard to understand.

I apologise again

re: Bansko

Bansko is a 'building site' to some extent and last year with the absence of snow in the town it was quite awful I agree - if it was breezy - geez - the dust was quite choking and you did get dirty. Nevertheless I have been every year for the past 3 years and will be there again in March. The first 2 years I went building wasn't quite so substantial but most of all there was snow cover - this hides all sorts - everywhere always looks better with snow and I hope it will be white in the town ...

As for the gondola - I have heard stories this year of long queues so it will be interesting to see what occurs in March - hopefully it wil be OK and people reporting recently have suffered as a result of it being a busy Christmas and New Year period. In terms of time - once you are on the gondola it is 20 mins - to the top!

re: Bansko

Dave,
No it will be my first trip to Borovets - once before to Bansko - and 15 to Pamporovo.

Not going to dwell on why I didn't like Bansko but yes it was the week of the bomb scare plus the ladies downhill competition plus other lift issues.

Doing Borovets so then I've done all 3 but I'm pretty certain I'l be back in Pamporovo next season.
