I have to say that everyone in Bansko is still feeling the punch of the credit crunch(as is everyone worldwide in the buy to let market) at the mo. IMHO, Crystal is a little different from the rest. Sure its had its delays etc, but hey, the complex is finished, its superb and the staff are great. This will never be a get rich quick scheme, but hang on in there for 5 years + and I am positive that it will be a good bet. When I hear some of the desperation around Bansko from other ...

It is not only Regnum that will make Crystal a success, but more importantly, the role that the appt owners (like you and I) have to play in its future

Hi all. Things seem to be moving now. Might even get a little return! I have said yes to Tsveta, but a little worried how much utilities will cost. I take it there is no negotiation on the nightly rate?Cheers

Steve,I am planning to open a bulgarian bank account as the transfer costs of rental income, water, electric etc, back to my UK acount will eat into my return. may be worth looking into. Only thing is you obviously have to go to a bank in Bansko in person to do this. In the meantime, I am thinking of asking Regnum to hold the funds for me as the 2010 management fee will be due soon and so this much needed rental income will cover that and the bills and maybe a little more

My first time on this web site,we are going out to stay in our studio in crystal this coming Saturday,we purchased the studio back in september 2006,it as been a bumpy ride but i feel it as been worth it,if anyone wants photos sent to them let me have your email and i will forward them on to you,my son is going out 2nd week in novemeber and plans to stay for the season (money permitting)we were there last December and were very impressed with the build,if any one is out there this week end ...

Cliffwe have been told byTvesta that we have got to pay 315 euros when we arrive for our maintenance fees,as anyone else been told the same,we opened a bank account with the I bank that is situated at the begining of the road,will be going there on monday 2/11/09 to sort out our direct Debits,does anyone have any info to offer on this subject.
