HELP HOTEL OVERBOOKED??

Hi all 8 of us are travelling to Hotel Pamps Feb 24th and have just been advised hotel have overbooked by lots of rooms!! They have offered us Orlevetz hotel, however what attracted us to Pamps hotel was bowling alley and casino....................has anybody been to either hotel that can give any advice or suggestions

orlovitz is very nice and very upmarket
BUT BUT totally without any atmosphere or the craic that you go skiing for - try for Morgavitz or ensist on the Hotel Pamps.....

We are going same date and staying at Perelik - it is not as nice as some of the others but its where the main disco is and central to shops. also has bowling and plenty of places to eat - pool * fitness etc.

Thanks for that!!! Im insisting on the Pamps but they are bumping us out over others even though we booked in November...Im waiting for a call to see will others move!! Ive had my heart set on the Pamps hotel!!!

Make sure you get some money back if you do have to move.

This happened to me some years ago and 7 of us all got £60 each and we endded up in a better hotel.

Yes but they aint gonna give money back if we move as other hotel is more expensive anyway ...........gutted

Stand your ground on this one. We booked with Crystal in Jan and are flying out this Sat. We got a letter the other day saying it had come to their attention that the Perelik was only a 3star hotel and not a 4star as they had in brochure. This didn't actually change anything for us but we got €40 per person compensation anyway!

Or tell them it is the pamps or nothing and demand a full refund.

Stating you chose that hotel purposely and nothing else will do.

then contact all the relevant authorities.

Once you get all your money back book a last minute in france or austria or somewhere else.

The fact of the matter is that the hotel is probably calling the shots and it will be either germans/spanish or bulgarians that now have your rooms. And they probably only booked last week.

Orlavetz is a a far better hotel and only 1 year old and is in resort centre. Opposite is the Perlelik where you will find bowling. I would snap their hand of for this, the Hotel Pamporovo has had loads of bad reports this season.

As for Money back why would or should they give money back when the alternative hotel is better?

orllvetz is fine, newest hotel in Pamps, you can walk to the Pamps hotel or the perelik and use the bowling alley, don't let it spoil your holiday before you go - read past reports on here about the Pamps!!! that should make you feel better
Orlevetz is better situated in the centre of the resort.
