It was in" BLUE " you can't miss it mate,it's opposite the black cat..
Was a very nice fillet, but i've also heard good things about Kateys steak house, and the green something or other, try the bulgarian mixed meat and veg platter it's served in a big skillet and is lovely
compared to about 95% of ski resorts across the globe bulgaria is still cheap...for a beginner its a fantastic place...my only gripe is the price of the lift pass...its a lot of money for what you actually getin terms of pistes..
but when you way up the fact that youre paying less than £250 for flights, transfers and 7 night food an lodge...its cheap..
Gotta laugh at G&T, as he states he is going for the skiing first then the booze and last the food. Obviously has totally ignored all the posts or is very inexperienced on ski resorts.
All posts more or less state if BG offered good KMs of skiing then people wouldnt mind the price hike. Bg offers good limited skiing but people go for the reasonable price of beer and food. If the cost of beer and food goes up it outways the limited skiing. Same as liza, I would love liza to be a rep for BG, ...

Mind you she may have a good idea, would leave the slopes empty for her.
Sorry been offline for a while! Don't know the full name of it as i was staying in the Flora the signs were just saying Ski depot. But yes its under the Flora Apartments, down the steps under the mini supermarket.
Glad to see some people on hear are not so short sighted, as a regular visitor to Bulgaria for 12 years, the price hikes are rediculous. Its the bulgarian people who will lose out, many tourists like me are not returning after going for over 12 years, the ski-ing is limited, it cant compete with other european resorts, and the price of food and beer keep people returning. It is a pity!! We went to France and Italy to ski this year, it was no more expensive then Bulgaria, drinks food and ...

It is a pity!! We went to France and Italy to ski this year, it was no more expensive then Bulgaria, drinks food and lift passes. After staying at Hotel Pamps last year, which was a dreadful hotel, obviously ran by a cartel!! The 12 of us that always went every year, none of us would return, its sad as we have made lots of Bulgarian friends, and even they say its getting too expensive, as there is not enough competition. The people who have brought their apartments out there ought to think more about the situation, its your investment that you will lose!!!! But then its certainly the young brits and irish abroad which are stopping a lot of regulars returning, Pamps seems to be turning into a sad yob culture place for all male party tourists. I know things change everywhere, but certainly in Bulgaria it is change for the worse!!
I have just booked boro on the 23rd march but i could have had brides-les-bains for the same amount. I have skied both in recent years and the cost of day 2 day living and socialising in France is very expensive. This will be me and the kids back in boro returning after 2 years but thankfully we are half -board.I have heard that the food has improved and the Iglika palace seems to have a good reputation. Fwiw,
I have just booked boro on the 23rd march but i could have had brides-les-bains for the same amount. I have skied both in recent years and the cost of day 2 day living and socialising in France is very expensive. This will be me and the kids back in boro returning after 2 years but thankfully we are half -board.I have heard that the food has improved and the Iglika palace seems to have a good reputation. Competition seems to be the keyword and I do remember that ski instructors were ordered to take their charges to a certain restaurant for lunch or face dismissal. We found alternatives although the instructor had misgivings. I suppose the moral is find out those little places that WANT your business , you will know because they have a smiling face and good, cheap food. As for booze I rarely drink but i do remember yummy milk and brandy in a little tavern across the rd from the ELA
