Schools taking kids on skiing trips during school holidays is a good idea for many reasons and i agree with all the positives that children can gain from activity holidays with their peers ect.
However what greives me is the over pampering and snouts in the trough attitude of the education establishment, harsh yes but bear with me.
1. Do schools have to book into 4 star hotels for kids, i had youth hostels in my day but 4 stars come on.

4. And the biggest gripe, Why do teachers get receipts at hotel bars for drinks to claim on their expenses.
My son went with his school and i paid the same price as the broucher, it was to a top italian glacier resort with a 4star hotel, most of the kids were beginners, the cost was over £700 and during term time. excessive or what.
