I really cant be bothered anymore to justyfy myself . Only to say we have had 3 great holidays with friends and family in Borovets but the place has changed so much . I have posted good reports previously . The 100 to150 levs was per family not for the 26 of us .
Stephen what made you choose Borovets, as I was a Bulgaria virgin last year and after reading this forum amongst other reports, looked at ski brochures, the only place we fancied was Bansko, we went, excellent hotel 5*, great mountain, cheap lessons and had a good time, Bansko town is lacking charm and pretty grotty/building site areas. We returned to Austria this year had an excellent time and it put Bansko in perspective, afordable, pleasant fun ski mountain, we are returning in March, ...

We returned to Austria this year had an excellent time and it put Bansko in perspective, afordable, pleasant fun ski mountain, we are returning in March, same hotel where we shall spent the entire week HB when not on the slopes. Nice as Austria was it is incredibly expensive to have what Bansko offers in terms of private lessons, cheap, ski pass and classy hotels.
arron you sound like you have lost the plot somewhere between Pamp and the airport.go back find it and stop defending BG. We all know you have direct vested interest in' Holiday Home' in BG or shall we remove the word holiday from that.interesting.Bikergirl buying in BG NOW-you should be thinking of SELLING in there.
Boro got some kicking this season but the other two are not much better unless you have bought in them.Bansko looks grim and this season.Pamp- small and cramped on the slopes ...

Boro got some kicking this season but the other two are not much better unless you have bought in them.Bansko looks grim and this season.Pamp- small and cramped on the slopes and at the end of the world to reach.the BG system is the same everywhere you go no matter which corner you choose.Enjoy the rough ride ahead
I'm sorry Lizzie if you think I have offended you. But you are saying you can't be bothered to justify yourself, but you had not stated any specifics. That's what people want to hear not a random rant.
well someone muist like me up there i have just come back for the fourth time school holiday week never busy food ,booze cheap we got to know some people who run a bar /resturant they always look after us stayed in an apartment 350 for the week 350 for flights spent about 250 on food and plenty of booze stiill a great place going back next year
How many specifics do you need i have given you names of bars etc . Do you want dates and times . i was only posting to warn other people of my experiences .
Well im suprised about the Green king. They normally undercharge you if anything and with 20% off you must of been quids in.The people that run it havent got a dishonest bone between them
Raw chicken , raw pork which were sent back meals that didnt arrive which we were charged for . Drinks we didnt have on the bill all that at the Green King.
went to pamps for 5th time i enjoy going, but i would not say it was cheap,it seems to me the owners of restaurants and bars have been on some mission to see how we charge for food and drink here,it certainly is not cheap anymore, but neither is it as expensive as austria or france. but more akin to the prices we pay in cheap pubs and clubs in our own country, and as for the kebab shop in pamps, well in a word crap,if you r sober and you can see what you are paying for, great if you like shredded ...

In borovets you used to get value for money, not any more . The conditions are poor which you didnt mind because you got a cheap skiing holiday . it is outpricing itself.
