No never was there -got all that info from looking at the piste map on the back of my lift pass and from the extremley detailed photos on the web apparently. Look at the bottom corner of the lift pass and you can clearly see the blonde in the Iglika serving me a pint - seriously look very carefully its truere: Reality of Borovets

no scapula it was not honest .. but missleading.. i.e not comparing like with like as to resort prices ... we still do not know why this .experianced ski r took freinds and family to boro ... my guess is it came down to cost .. and my other guess is he will come back when he sees the cost next year in france.....

An honest opinion from an honest man scapula. No marketing, told it as it was for me. As do hundreds of people on here. Are we all wrong?
Go to an Austrian ski forum, a French ski forum, Swiss Forum, Canadian forum etc etc and judge for yourself.
Yeah go and try it once just for curiosity sake and to get the tee shirt. If you like then go back. If not then expect some of the same on here when you say whats wrong with the place. This forum will always be the same. Even some of the ...

I went once and that satisfied my curiosity.
The beer in Northern Ireland is cheap and its a good laugh, the beer in Bosnia was cheap and it was a good laugh, the beer in Kosovo was cheap and it was a good laugh, the beer in Iraq was cheap and it was a good laugh - The beer in Afghanistan is cheap - would i want to go back?

why do I like this topic
Because somebody actually was left to defend his views against the whole of the pressure of
the moderators-regulars-BG lovers-nothing-wrong-with-the-place-and-BG-best-People .
It is very funny to see AN ARMY of people with :
-been there 20 years this and that.
-have a place there it is best
-can not find anywhere in Europe cheaper place to DRINK
-can still smoke everywhere just like in the dark ages
-just to turn out of my hotel and Bingo -straight
-into ...

To all of these 'people' i would say this:
I have been born in this place have skied since the early 70s there ,even now go for 3-4 times there ,have seen high and lows but deffinitely BG resorts are in a low circle now and still in downward direction.
so before things improve
all of you regulars with nick names related to Bulgaria or else have a deep breath look around -sometimes just next to you and come to the reality check.
