Just returned from Borovets and have to complain about the ski school instructors with Borosport.
My girlfriend was placed into a beginner group along with another ten beginners this seemed reasonable until the instructor came along.

I have never come across a rude sexist and poor instructor in all my life. He was for ever making lewd remarks towards the females within the group and was not interested in passing the knowledge of skiing onto this group of individuals needlees to say that after two days the group was no more and all the parties had gone either there separate way or decided to learn via other means (coming out with me).
The final straw was that he told a female that she was to large to ski and should loose weight he suggested that she lie by the swimming pool also he left a beginner at the top of the mountain and advised him to make his own way down this is totally unacceptable after all he has the safety of all to think of.
I would never recommend that people be instructed by this indivudal and would hope that he is removed from teaching forthwith.
That is so bad.. you should def name him if you can .Probably the ski instructor from the "Pamps Never Again" thread in this forum, seriously that kind of behaviour could put ppl off skiing for life ..very poor
the name of this individual was a guy called varsgas(i think thats how you spell it) he was in his mid to late twenties quite tall with a crooked tooth.
Please give him a wide berth if you can.
Even after the class had dispersed he was still walking around the resort with a cheesy grin on his face
I think 'naming and shaming' is a good idea - I'd have been mortified if I'd been put with that guy!
We've only ever used the Pamps ski school at Ski Centre 2.
The first year, our instructor was spot on - his name was Chris. He was there last year too but I didn't see him this year so maybe he's moved on. Last year we had Margarite, who was more interested in stopping to gossip with her friends than anything else. She was always late starting and early finishing too. I know the snow ...

This year we really dropped lucky. our instructor was Nicky and he was brilliant. He was always there early and keen to start. He made us do warming up exercises every day before we set off and really looked after us. There were several nervous people in our group (I was one of them) and he was fantastic. His English was very good too.
Maybe someone should start a register of 'good' instructors - and a list of 'those to avoid'. If people start being a bit picky about who they're put with, those in charge might get the message.
Last Wednesday my daughter's friend Julie, who had never been on skis in her life, had a lesson with a superb guy called Kristo (Christo??) recommended by Nick Markov, Manager at the Grand Monastery complex.
She had a second lesson with him on Friday and by the end of this lesson he had given her so much confidence she was skiing down the green slope by herself with Kristo by her side making sure she was okay all the way down. An ace instructor and once we wouldn't hesitate to ...

No BG, as I am a ski-virgin I will have my own personal instructor. .
If it snows next week in Pamps, Jordan, my Project Manager for my house build, will give me one-on-one instruction and he says he will be gentle with me

We went 1st-8th, and had a Samakov ski school instructor, what a nice man called George, we were complete beginners and the group of 11 progressed at
different speeds, so this made it very hard for george, some still on green runs, some blues and some venturing onto reds, yes reds in our first week. he managed to keep
us all happy. george had previously worked for Boro sport
and didn't like the work practices so had come over to Samakov school some years ago.
we could find no fault with ...

we could find no fault with this ski school, we took our boots back on a few occasions and they changed them straight away. If you can, use Samakov..
We had a brilliant time in Borovets, we will be going back
next year.
