Would you pre-book Pamps again?

How many of you would honestly pre-book to go to Pamps again?

I for one, would definantly NOT pre-book Pamps again.

Looks like i am about to go out to the worst conditions i have ever seen. And yes i was in Pamps in Jan 2006.

The only way i would go back to Pamps is on a last minute, and make sure the snow & all the pistes are in great condition.

My guess is only about 20% of responses are going to be yes's.

Pre-book or not. Yes or NO

re: Would you pre-book Pamps again?

if the info you got could be trusted, weathernet.tv says 10mm of snow in last 24hrs and that all is well. They shut off the webcams as soon as the conditions look ok and the forcast is bad.................nah...no way, tempted to complain and gret moved.

re: Would you pre-book Pamps again?

Did think about booking a cheap deal before xmas but was dubious because of the last 2 years. Economics now means I can't afford too but at moment glad I didn;t book

I would have to wait for a very late deal as if you can only afford 1 trip a year you really do want to ski, although in Pamps we have year on year have met some great friendly people and had great times.

No - sadly we've more or less decided that this will be our last year. We skiied France over New Year and there was never any doubt about snow. Conditions there were fantastic - Bulgaria really can't compete. Ok, it's more expensive, but at least the skiing is guaranteed to be good.

re: Would you pre-book Pamps again?

Poor snow is the big one compounded by no piste maintenance in the closed season

Add to that that the loss of two of its three big attractions

Perceived as being cheap
Great atmosphere/warm genuine welcome
Ski Instruction

Many have reason to go never again.

Don't worry though. Every now and again things have to bottom out before they become great again. Pamporovo is a fantastic place.

re: Would you pre-book Pamps again?

Well I have been convertwed to Bansko now but I still love Pamps. Have been for the last 2 years around March 14th to Bansko and again this year all booked diy and flights brought well in advance no hesitaion on dates.

But if I was going to Pamps around that time there is no way now I would book in advance. Probably would if it was Jan to end of Feb though. Having said that Bansko is miles better than Pamps and cheaper too.
