re: balkan holidays rip off

I think the problem is not those of us who browse the internet during lunch breaks at work, more those who claim unemployment/incapacity benefit when they a not entitled. I think that would cost the taxpayer (myself included) a whole lot more Booze

yipee! a good, light hearted, slagging each other off thread. its like the good old days on this board again.
Now if i can just get my disability claim sorted i might be able to afford a holliday with Balkan, anybody know the best way to book?

If your disability is in the region of your typing fingers, don't risk booking online - mashing the keyboard could cost you £45.

Me too, I pay tax and bloody lot of it, in my job I see loads of money go down the drain so using the net that is paid for as a whole not by usage is not a big deal, time wise others go out for a fag break, instead I have a web break.

Tim - that reply was a classic LOL

I agree Tony, fag breaks drive me mad. They can add up to an hour a day easily. Wonder what my boss would say if I started coming in an hour late every morning. I only surf during legitimate breaktimes, I haven't got time at any other part of the day. The NHS get their moneys worth out of it's employees, we're not exactly well paid! Which is why I have to holiday in Bulgaria and not Whistler!! Wink

Had the same problem 2 years ago put Mr instead of Mrs
for one of our party back then it was £20 admin charge.
It was not a last minute booking,11 months in advance so nothing to do with border notification etc just cashing in where they can.

Avalanche - is your booking on the earlybird brochure for next season, if so it's a registration not a booking so you shouldn't have to pay. Same thing just happened to us with Inghams and the error was corrected free of charge.
