just booked online with balkan holidays. they spelt my name wrong on the booking form.. rang them up to change the letter k to c and they have charged me £45.00 .. not bad profit for 2 mins work .. this is an unjustified rip off .. i will not be traveling with balkan again....

If it was an online booking and you entered the names etc do you not have an automated e-mail response confirming the booking that you can refer them back to to show it's an error at their end?re: balkan holidays rip off
If it was an online booking you have entered your own details, then confirmed them and then Balkan computers automatically generate the invoice. I think the mistake is 100% yours!!re: balkan holidays rip off
i understand what you are saying ..i spelled the name with a c not a k.. the person who typed the confirmation has miss spelled millisic to millisik..the so called auto e mail response is not a copy of the online booking form.. i did ask for a copy of this and guess what i cannot have it ... and just to say IF it was my fault. do you think £45.00 for this change is justifide. well i hpoe one day it happens to you .. because for one i would love to see the look on your face

Avalanche, you really don't understand. Do you seriously think someone is there retyping your booking details and sending an email immediately you have booked!! their system is completely automated.
Face facts you spelt your own name wrong.

Not siding with anyone cos mistakes can happen but I've booked with Balkan Holidays a few times over the internet & never had any problems whatsoever.Hopefully Avalanche will have a word with them & they will refund the charge.
