The only thing I dislike about boarders is when they decide to just sit down and talk about their last adventure - you know the one 5 feet after the adventure before.
In Pamps over the new year, the end of the green run where you meet all the beginners (ski and board) was mayhem, boarders sitting on the top level before you get to the single chair, all the learners slowly going over the edge - skiers and boarders having to work their way through them to get to the lifts - putting the fear ...

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing decent boarders as well as skiers plying their trade - but please stop at the side of the run as we were all taught.
You don't see old boarders cos' their backsides are worn out !!!! This one may touch a nerve methinks. lol

Snowlover - snowboarding not tiring? Well, either you've discovered a technique that nobody else I've ever heard of knows, or you're not staying out long enough!
I'm not saying it's like sprinting, but I've never met anyone's who's not at least a bit knackered after 8 hours!
Even skiing is a bit tiring!
Mattsville have to agree with snowlover on this its not that tiring at all once you get the right technique, it is learning all that falling and getting back up takes it out of you!!! whats tiring about cruising round on your board??? you get to rest on chair lifts thats plenty, and yes i board all day first to last lift happy days.

Just standing still with your legs bent makes your thighs burn after a few minutes. Are you guys saying that after a long run with flat sections (like the ski road when it's sticky) you don't feel it in your thighs? Yes, the chair lifts are plenty of time to get a rest - but I still ...

"it is learning all that falling and getting back up takes it out of you!!! "
I guess that explains it a bit, if you don't fall over much. I suppose it's probably not tiring if you take it easy all day.
If you're not falling over - then you're not trying hard enough!
