Hi thereNot quite sure what the solution is. We really need someone on the ground to check occupancy rates for us if we can't trust Orco etc. Not sure how it would work though as they hold all the keys etc. Is a right pain to be honest. I only have a room there and apparently there is zero demand. Are they marekting the property as a hotel or self catering apartments does anyone know? If they are marketing them at all that is......

As far as i can tell from all the letting websites it is been marketed as an aparthotel which usually means self catering apartments with access to hotel facilities.
Orco contacted me yesterday asking me to sign the rental agreement and send them 360 euro.
I have got in touch with booking .com and they tell me that there are very few bookings for the property through them but there could be bookings for christmas holiday from local lettings from plovdiv etc .

You have to ask the question though is it worth forking out 360 euro nowing that it is highly unlikely we will get a return, would probably be better putting the money on a good horse.

Hi Steve any luck with your guarantee rental ,we keep sending desi emails but its the same old answer ,still waiting from the finance department,we now feel like threating them with legal action. something has to be done about it. We bought the property from a estate agent buy abroad which seemed a good deal at first espically being promised a rental return.When we go to pamporovo in february may be we can look into then.sue and Nick

Hi Sue and NickWe got a message from Desi last week to say that they were beginning to pay the rental returns according to the date the Tapu was signed
So fingers crossed!
We have put ours up for sale as we are fed up with the whole thing, as you said before its a shame because Pamporovo is a really nice place.

I own an apartment in the Villa Orphica complex and have had the same experience from you guys. I was quite taken aback by this seeing as I have being trying to sign the rental agrements for months and have heard nothing from Orco. I would be interested to know what you think of this situation. My brother also owns an apartment there and will be paying a surprise visit in January, should be interesting. Look forward to hearing from you.
