Sorry your post does not make sense. Accept what? Nothing can be done about poor snow it's just one of those things. You are suggesting that us is the norm which it is not at all.
went last year and nothing was open . went this year and it was better. lets say that the NORM is that you have to accept poor conditions for cheap holiday. honesty is what i would like to hear from people on this site , all i seem to get is aggresive people telling me i am wrong but cant back it up
MOTHER NATURE , we cant win against or argue with her , as we know mother means a female , and we ALL know we never win arguments with the female sense ...give it up guys , what will be will be , what ever we wish for
I have been going to Bansko along with other places for 15 years... same thing ever year somewhere , Bleeding snow had to be shipped in for the winter games in a so called snow sure area
Why I you so confrontational? You had bad experience no need to shout your mouth of on a forum. January 2010 when I was in Bansko had very good snow cover from top to bottom. Top was closed some days because of high winds again nature nothing can be done.
i have said my bit . i feel no one has offered a strong opinion to defend bansko .if tou are about to press that button , WAIT , think about the advise we have given . i am a punter that values his cash . no it seems cheap but value to ski is just not there. people on this site may big it up but they have a financial comitment to this country. i dont think there is much honesty
this is not confrontational . this is discussion . i am saying it as first hand. i dont think you guys can handle it.people go to learn ski , the new bread, and get miss lead by rose tinted specs
Yes the food in the hotels I've stayed in can't be described as great or to the standard expected in the UK, but its edible. even the wife whose a very fussy eater can find something to have.
We choose to do a night eating at the hotel and a night eating out... not because of the food but because on the nights we eat in the hotel we go out and party. the next night is like a recovery night and a nice meal.
As for the restaurants... ...
I choose to ski in Bulgaria because its cheap.

As for the restaurants....in our favorite restaurant in Bansko, we had 3 huge courses, 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of pop all for under £45 for 4 of us. The food was fantastic and this year we've even talked about just going to the same place on the nights we eat out.
We've never had any problems with the weather so guess we've been lucky... Although 1 year Boro was a bit icy but still very skiable.
My main complaint.. and like many others.. is the gondola organisation in Bansko... hoping this year it maybe better given what I've read.
Oh, and I have no finacial interest in Bulgaria at all... other than watching the exchange rate... need more beer money
