re: WARNING Buzz bar

We do have some power here.

Anyone reading your post and booked to go this season, need to take note and BOYCOT the Buzz Bar. Spread the word and warn others in the resort. They will take note that word gets back to the UK and if they see a drop in their business, may rethink how they treat their customers.

I, too, will contact my friends out there and ask the ski instructors to spread the word and warn others.

It is difficult trying to put wise heads on young shoulders. Very distressing for you all but at least it was only replaceable items (and some pride) that was taken.

re: WARNING Buzz bar

i think peopel should start posting what they have seen happeningand their experiences in the buzz bar.
If things are regulary happening then everybody should avoid it like the plague .The owners need to do something as it will only be a matter of time before something more sinister will happen.
The door staff security are their to protect the safety of the drinkers

Err you think he was hallucinating and acting strange? Isnt that just drunk??
Spent some time in the Buzz Bar and cant say we had any trouble even went out for a drink with a couple of the staff.
Not sure you should start boycotting a joint just because of one persons experiance..

re: WARNING Buzz bar

Just spoke to someone in Boro. He doesn't use the Buzz Bar as it has a reputation for drugs. He hasn't heard of any particular incidents - just doesn't like the 'atmosphere'.

re: WARNING Buzz bar

Sorry to hear about your incident. BUT why would you let anyone you didn't know have hold of your expensive camera equipment/phones when our digital cameras are probably worth a months wages to a Bulgarian?

re: WARNING Buzz bar

These people were talking pics of my son and his friends and being very friendly. They were being treated like friends from the barstaff . in previous years there has been no problems so i suppose our guard was dropped. Borovets has always been a friendly place .

re: WARNING Buzz bar

I am 44 years old and have been drunk and have 3 other children who have also been drunk . This was more than drunk believe me. We spoke to many people in the resort incl our ski instructor . He said it was a regular occurance and was a well know drugs den. Last whilst we were there there was 3 other boys robbed 2 phones and one wallet which was taken from his had while he was walking out of the Buzz Bar. So what about the ones we dont know about?

re: WARNING Buzz bar

Lizzie, from your first post, it would appear that you were not present whilst all this was going on and you are going on your son's drunken account of what happened??Please correct me if i am wrong.

Only a few years ago, i was an 18 year old lad on my first boozy hols too and I also got into plenty of scrapes. I'm sure this is quite common behaviour for young men and i'm sure there are plently on this message board that can recall similar incidents. Whilst i'm sure your son is a fine ...

I'm sure this is quite common behaviour for young men and i'm sure there are plently on this message board that can recall similar incidents. Whilst i'm sure your son is a fine individual, surely you must have considered that this maybe a bit of a yarn he spun to account for his lost belongings? I suggest that your son puts this one down to experience and learns from his actions. Things like this happen all over the world, not least in the uk. Unfortunately you cannot trust everyone, especially when paraletic.

re: WARNING Buzz bar

Also I'm sorry to say this but from going in the Buzz Bar last year and this year you can tell that it is "dodgy". It even has dedicated gangster nights!!!

I am a 27 year old girl with lots of drunken holidays behind me Falaraki, Malia, Kavos!! It's the same everywhere with regards to plying you with drink!!
