re: WARNING Buzz bar

all i was trying to get across is he should not have drank as much, and never drink a drink that you have not seen being poured or have left alone even for a min. and unless i had known someone for a while i would not have given them my phone & camera? thats just common sense. i do feel sorry for what has happened i really do. but i think a bit more care should be taken next time. and if he feels funny after a few drinks then stop drinking & get out

Plus watch your language Ross.

Its where the spiking leads, theft, rape and death, its illegal and should'nt happen. I would say in both of these cases they did have there drinks spiked, due to their age they possibly would'nt have any idea that its not normal to feel like that if you are drinking. My daughter is only a few years to 18 and this is a fear every where. But while people think its ok they will keep doing it, lets hope the worst that happens to you Ross is a good night you ...

re: WARNING Buzz bar

i'm not saying it's alright to spike ppl's drink i personally see it as a shocking thing to do. but in the world we live in it happens. but it happens all over the world. so it could have happened to the boy if he was at a local night club in britain. that was the point i was trying to get across. it's not just bg that suffers this. if they had went on a sun hol to spain it would prob have more chance of this happening. but hope he is ok and has learnt a valuable lesson here. i certainly did ...

Ross

it read as though you thought it was a good thing, Yes it can happen here and its has to me, as I said above I was old enough to know something wasnt right. In all cases it happens to take advantage in some way, what ever that is. I hope the guy is ok and as you say has learnt some thing from it. But if it is happening regually in the same place, it needs sorting. Have a good holiday and take care.

re: WARNING Buzz bar

Well done Sam, thanks for your support. What some people don't realise is that it is too late once the drink has been spiked and you do not know what you are doing. It could be very dangerous and I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. Anyone who makes light of it are being very foolish.

Queen of the snow

I know what happened to me I couldn't even walk when I got out the car when I got home, so I was told. Scarry thing is if I had been an 18 year old Girl what the hell would have happened, its scarry, weather a guy or a girl, I really think someone should be looking into this and not just treating it as a lot of young drunk kids, noone knows how many more this has happened to.
