Exactly smigger. Can't agree more. With a few scrapes and boozy holdidays under our belts, will have all learnt to recognise the dodgy places and know when enough is enough, hopefully before we get too plastered and start lending people our expensive belongings

re: WARNING Buzz bar

I went to Borovets on the 26th of Jan for my 5th or 6th time (cant remember exactly). It was my best ever holiday and spent time in most of the bars. I am relatively switched on to people trying to cheat me. I have to say I found Buzz Bar very uncomfortable, beginning with the 'pretty' barstaff who dont tend to offer you any change from your drinks, tipping should be at my discretion not their's. I did witness the doormen 'removing' someone although they didnt seem to be using an inordinate amount of force. I cant really put my finger on why but it did make me feel uncomfortable.

My 2 daughters were with him and 2 friends . One of my daughters does not drink and is 23 . She gave an accurate account of what happened and just wanted to get him back to their room . I have been to Borovets 3 times before and have never experienced this before . i also have been on boozy holidays so am not naive to what goes on .

re: WARNING Buzz bar

think he was druged then, I think my drink was spiked a few years ago, luckly I was 31 and had been drunk many times before, I realised straight away something was wrong called my husband who came and took me home, by the time I got home was completely out of it, this was on two drinks, next day no hangover and also cant remember a thing.

sorry to hear what happened, scarry thing is as you said if this was an 18 year old girl, could anything else have happened. shame but it does happen ...

re: WARNING Buzz bar

Sounds horrible.

I went once last year and never again, it just had a really bad atmosphere. In the 10 years or so that I've been going to clubs bars etc I've never felt intimidated ever. This place made me feel really un easy. It certainly wont be getting my custom this year.

hello 'local' Fiona. Defending the resort not the exact joint is just funny and hopeless I think.the tide is going one way at the moment. If this was in France it will close the next day and that it is.but in your beloved BG nothing happens-do you know why -because everything is knitted into the grey murky market-just hopeless.better just slam d door or you cant even if you want.

Marc, please do not post comments like that, think of others. If you don't agree with someone say so but don't use terms like you have.
