WE JUST GOT BACK FROM BOROVETS WHAT A PLACE NO GOOD FOR KIDS OR FAMILYS YOU WOULD'NT WANT TO EAT OUT AS EVERYBODY THERE SMOKES AS THEY DONT HAVE A SMOKING BAN IN THE PUBS, I GOT FED UP WITH THE THUGS TRYING TO DRAG ME INTO EVERY BAR ON THE SHORT STREET UP TO THE SLOPES AND ONCE THERE ITS NOT MUCH BETTER I THINK THEY DONT BOTHER TO LOOK AFTER THE SLOPES SO AS TO KEEP YOU DOWN IN THE SQUALER OF THE TOWN SO THEY CAN PESTER YOU INTO THE BAD PUBS WHERE THEY RIP YOU OFF ON EVERY ROUND YOU BUY,THE HOTEL IGLIKA WHERE WE STAYED WAS VERY BASIC IT HAD A VERY COLD SWIMMING POOL WHICH WAS SURROUNDED WITH SMOOTH TILES WHICH I SAW 2 PEOPLE SLIP AND FALL DOWN ON VERY PAINFULL NO HOT TUB WHICH YOU LOOK FORWARD TO AFTER A DAY ON THE GRASS STREWEN SLOPES.THE FOOD WAS ON A SCALE OF 1-10 MUST BE ON A 1 IT WAS COLD ON EVERY OCCASION THE MICROWAVE SEEN SOME ACTION THAT WEEK, I MUST SAY THE WAITERS LOOKED AS THOUGH THEY WERE X MAFIA HENCHMEN WITH THE ATTITUDE TO MATCH BUT STILL YOU COULD ALWAYS SETTLE IN FOR THE NIGHT IN THE COMPANY OF NEW FREINDS AND HAVE VERY WATERTED DOWN 2-4-1 COCKTAILS. BUT ON A HAPPIER SIDE I'M HOME NOW

ive always found the #'bar touts' to be quite humourous and not half as pushy as some places ive been to, and ive never known them get bolshy.

Whilst i dont want to be accused of rose tinted glasses i have spent a lot of time in the country and just because you dont agree with Bulgarian preferances doesnt necassarily make you right. Bulgarians regard our penchant for all food to be piping hot as a bit odd, similarily with the pools, they are all the same sort of temp. But just an observation
