Lots of people are saying that Bulgaria is losing return visitors and if only "they" could pull themselves together to provide better value, people would come back to Bulgaria.

They problem is, who are "they"? Bulgarian tourism is in complete chaos and everyone is in it for quick profit. Developers have been destroying the environs because they want to build and sell as many apartments as possible, as quickly as possible (no more); the local authorities have been careless about whether building these apartments was sustainable because they were getting their bungs from the developers; waiters and other staff in the resorts have only been interested in the cash they would take home every night (not worrying whether they would be able to take the same amount of cash home next year); etc., etc. There is just no person or organisation over there with long-term thinking who can pull all the strands together and sort things out. What can I say...
Nooky to put Chamonix-the capital of the ski world and the heaven for skiers from around the globe down is a bit rich to say the least.
If Chamonix is not THE BEST choice for every soul on this planet with love of snow I am Mickey Mouse. and I can guarantee you that I am not
Capital of the ski world? You've not been to Whistler then Mr Mouse.
Seriously all of my points stand and are from personal experience, is it not spread out all over the place, do you not have to queue, in my case for 1.5 hours to get up the mountain? And is not really, really expensive?
Although stunning and one of the best for off piste, it's no way the capital of the world. Out of those I've boarded Whistler and Lake Tahoe spank its bottom.
