I can certainly show you around Chepelare etc.
It would be my pleasure as I love it here myself.
The runs are mainly red. There is a long long blue around the mountain and learners on the top.
Won't talk about it anymore since there is a different topic here.

Galina - Can you tell us who you represent. Your initial post states that you are a 'resort rep'.Can you also tell us who the decision makers are in resort. Perhaps a name, address and email address for these complaints/concerns to be directed too is more appropriate and realistic.
I have noticed today that pamporovo pete, who regularly posts on here, has the auhority to delete any message he sees fit! It would also be prudent to ask Pete who he represents?

P.S. aslo for anyone, who would like to make points or ask questions regarding co-operation between the two resorts, please do so there. All opinions are much appreciated and hopefully we'll get some good ideas for the whole area here as well as Pamporovo itself.

stayed at pamps christmas had great time with family ,have skied all over europe and went to pamps thirteen years ago ,the prices are very good compared to france and spain ,pizza in mountain was five pounds and hot chocolat two pounds not bad for ski prices .would go back, as mate of mine went to france skiing for christmas and was spending a hundred pound a day for his familys food ?pamps

There hasn't been many posts here in the last couple of daysm so I thought I'll make this thread a bit more alive again.

I think it would help if there was a little bit more feedback from you on some of the great suggestions.
The thing here in Bulgaria seems to be that there actually isn't anyone responsible for running places like Pamporovo up front in the public eye.
None of the wrong things are actually talked about ...

I have one example that is quite frightening. There is a chap who got really badly beaten, to show him that he's not welcome to do business in Pamporovo. "They" simply didn't like that he had better idea then "them" and was doing a great job of it.
That kind of things. And there is more. Public has to know that it isn't only about the small things wrong with Pamporovo. But that's not only here. The fact is, it could be prevented very easily. As long as the right management is in place.
I will run Pamporovo and things will fly . People will fly out of the window. Because that is what some of then litteraly deserve for allowing something like that to go on.
I think that a lot of Bulgarians are fed up with that too. Seeing the latest demonstrations etc.
There should be a way that all of the holiday makers would be able to make good and bad comments about their experience. Since this place is in so much trouble.
The numbers of tourist are pretty sad and I think that we should give the oportunity to the remaining few to give us feedback directly.
There should be a directed action. Few people on the slopes and restaurants maybe for a couple of days mid-week for few hours giving out leaflets with e-mail address to make their comments. Forms at the hotels, etc.
Something of that sort, and it has to be made sure, that the information gets to the right people, not into the bin.

I agree Pavel.C'mon Galina, give us some feedback on what YOU think about the probs are and whether they can be sorted, or are we flogging a dead horse?
