Have you heard enough. Will the big bosses 'mafia' take any notice or will anyone disagreeing too strongly suffer the same fate as the former owner of the Rila.

How can the quality and value that Pamporovo was famous for return with the powerful few preventing any real competition and the return of Bulgarian prices and hospitality.

Amanda still gets her say I see.

Susan I see what you mean. experiences like that can ruin a holiday. I felt the same when robbed in Rio last year. lost, confused and on my own. its not a nice feeling.

I hope everything gets sorted.

I wish you had gone to Pamporovo 8 years ago. You would have loved the place and the people. Sorry you had such an awful time.

I can tell you that many of the old hands, ski instructors et al are so depressed and despairing at the way things are going. Big tails wagging helpless dogs I'm afraid.

Hi Galina,
I had posted a couple of things on the Pamps report topic.
We are based in Chepelare and I would love to get in touch with you and have a chat about few or rather more that few things.
I would be greatful if you could call me on +359896335218
and we could perhaps meet. Great to see that there is some initiative to get things changed around here and in Bulgaria as a whole maybe.

Thank you
Pavel

We love the place and would really miss our trips, but common sense says spend your hard earned where you are guaranteed ski able snow Sad

Hi Michelle

Are you stll at the hotel in Chepelare?hpe to bump into this year, 28.2.09 1 week. We are at the Perelik again but only a group of 11. My brother who used to organise the holiday now lives in Canada, so we visit there to ski as well.
Are you still working for Thomson?

Regards Jo

re: What should be changed in Pamporovo

i disagree about the remarks susan made about the ski instructors, we had Jerry and Jason who both spoke perfect english and were very patient and had a good sense of humour, and this made a fab holiday Very Happy

TOO LATE!!!
Damage has already been done.

Poor snow.

No one employed in the summer to clear the pistes and prepare from poor snow.

Prices in the resort far far too high when everyone knows a 700ml bottle of brandy only costs 2 lev (1 euro).

Monopoly where ski school, lifts and restaurants owned by same people. Price fixing beyond belief.
