I think as the season is shorter in Pamps a floodlit piste or two would be beneficial so we can use the snow at night too. This would give many value for money.re: What should be changed in Pamporovo

Have just come back from Soll in Austria.
Top lift 1829m (lower than Pamps).
They to have the cannons running whenever possible, during the day especially on the lower slopes, and on all the slopes during the night.
Also the prices are not that much more expensive than pamps either, and a lot cheaper than France or Switzerland.

I have been to Pamps a few times and enjoyed my time there thoroughly, and intend to go back again in the future (hopefully end of Feb). But I when I go skiing I want to be able to ski on snow, and as many different runs as possible, not the same green / blue runs with every one getting in each others way.

We have been coming to Pamps since 1999 every year and although we keep returning think this year, 1.3.09, will be out last. We started as a group of 6 and over the years have taken extra family and friends reaching a total of 64 people in 2004.Bet Michelle from Thompson remembers the party in the Perelik! The last 2 years we have been on our own meeting people there but are taking another 8 first time skiers this year.

Let me tell you I am so worried at their reaction. We have raved for years how good Pamps is are disappointed to see how it is changing. When we first visited the people could not do enough for you, many of which we have stayed friends with and look forward to seeing each year.

The resort is not changing for the better.
Inflated prices on and off mountain, especially when you know the costs in nearby villages.
Lack of slopes, more promised every year but it never happens.
Slope preperation and maintainance very poor, snow cannons stood all day not used, something to do with no access to water maybe due to lake being bought?!!
Good instructors leaving ski school leaving ones that are not so experienced teaching.

hi jo,i remember your group, its hard to forget over 60 of you, you were my biggest group ever, i agree that the resort has changed since then and some things not for the better, fingers crossed they will mend their ways and realise that it is the tourists that make the resort successful and focus on making them happy rather than the business owners. If more of you comment than more may be done
